My goal was to create a portfolio that generates both income and growth. When investing, there is always a trade-off between the two—you often sacrifice growth for income and vice versa. The key is to strike the right balance based on your personal financial goals.
Since my primary goal is to achieve financial freedom sooner rather than later, the portfolio is tilted more toward income. However, all income generated will be reinvested to maximize compounding.
On the growth side, I wanted the flexibility to generate options income in the future. On the income side, tax efficiency is important since I’m still working. When designing this portfolio, my focus was on being intentional, keeping things simple, and allowing room to adjust over time.
